Sights

• “ProTanki Choice” – Minimalistic sights. Minimalistic sights containing only the most necessary information. Suitable if you already know both your combat vehicle and your opponents well.
• "Historical sight" HARDscope. A mod for connoisseurs of historicity, it contains sighting reticles of real combat vehicles of the Second World War.
• Marsoff sight. A mod from a series of minimalistic ones that shows additional information about the target when hovering

P-mod - gingerbread package

This comprehensive mod contains many useful game changes:

• « Commander's camera"—a mod for maximum camera distance in arcade mode, allows you to quickly assess the relative positions of allied and enemy tanks.
• Horizontal stabilization— a mod to disable swaying when shooting in sniper mode. Less realism, but more accuracy.
• Disable rocking— a mod similar to the previous one, disables camera swaying in sniper mode when moving on uneven terrain.
• Multi-zoom up to 20.8x. Installing the mod increases the maximum magnification in sniper mode to 20.8 - the maximum value for correct operation.
• Zoom indicator in a sniper scope. Adds the current magnification value for scopes that do not have this feature by default.
• Block crosshair changes - NoScroll. Disables “flowing” into sniper mode with the mouse wheel, leaving only switching with the Shift button.
• Disable dimming - NoBinoculars. Disables dimming around the edges of the screen in sniper mode.
• Increasing the work of the “sixth sense light bulb”. The icon remains on the screen for up to ten seconds - the time during which your tank should disappear from the light.
• Information about respawn when loading into battle. Instead of a “hint” in the loading screen, it displays information about which part of the map your team will appear in.
• “Handbrake” on tank destroyers and artillery. The mod disables “parking” and allows you to rotate the tank’s hull when the maximum horizontal aiming angles are reached in sniper or art mode without using the movement buttons.
• Filter battle chat messages. Blocks multiple messages and clicks on the minimap.
• Standard sight magnification - DefZoom. Sets the magnification to 3.2x when switching to sniper mode.
• Change camera behavior— a mod to disable effects when receiving damage.
• Free camera in replays- a useful mod for studying maps, as well as mistakes and successes in battle.
• Disable screensaver and auto-select server. Installing this mod prevents the start video from playing when loading World of Tanks and remembers the last game server you played on.
• Quick change of equipment using the F3 button. Allows you to dismantle and install removable equipment (masknet, stereo pipe...) by pressing one key.
• Server sight. This mod shows where your tank's sights are aimed according to the game server. Be sure to place it to shoot at the enemy and not at the wall next to you due to a synchronization error. Three different designs to choose from.
• Results of the battle in the battle chat. Useful for those who, after destroying their tank, do not wait for the end of the battle, but immediately take the next combat vehicle. There are six mod options in different styles.
• Post-battle messages. Six options for styling notifications about battle results in the game’s “notification center.”
• Advanced Statistics. A mod to display your overall results for the current gaming session. There are also six variants available that differ in appearance.

Modification of the combat interface (XVM)

The most famous mod for World of Tanks is the comprehensive mod XVM or Deer Measuring Mod. Its popularity is due to its convenient minimap and the display of personal ratings of allies and opponents in the ears of teams.

• Stat switch. Allows you to use the F6 button in the hangar to change the type of personal rating of players that you will see in battle - RE, WN8, etc.
• Enable minimap— installation of the XVM minimap, as well as setting up some functions: dynamic circles of the maximum range of illumination and visibility of your tank, a square of the maximum visibility range of allies and enemies, a “pointer” of the direction of the barrel of your gun, an indicator of the position of the art sight on the minimap, enlarging the minimap using the Ctrl button and markers for highlighting opponents in the ears.
• XVM markers over vehicles replace standard tank markers with more informative ones. We recommend installing the marker configuration from PRO Tanki.
• "Add damage log"- This installation menu item will add to your interface a useful function for calculating the damage you have dealt. There are two versions - only the final score and detailed, with the result of each shot.
• “Add a HP strip in the ears”. This menu item includes a rather heavy mod for displaying the strength points of each tank in battle. Useful, but can significantly reduce fps.
• “Add ping to servers”— a mod to display the quality of communication with game servers. Can be placed both in the hangar and on the login screen.
• Replacing the “sixth sense” icon. No mod assembly can ignore this interface element. PRO Tanki's modpack has thirteen options to choose from.
• Voiceover of the "sixth sense". You can set one of five sound alerts about detection.
• "Enable tank carousel". Several mods for customizing the list of tanks in the hangar: display in one, two or three rows; You can also directly add the percentage of victories, average damage and the level of battles of each combat vehicle in the hangar to the “carousel”.
• Clock in the hangar. A mod for controlling the time spent in the game.

Useful little things

• Horizontal angles. An indispensable mod for tanks without a turret or with limited rotation. The assembly is available in four options, differing in design.
• Information panel of the selected target. The mod shows basic information about your enemy's tank. You can choose from three options: standard info panel, color or minimal (recharge and review only).
• Damage direction marker. Shows the approximate direction from which they are shooting at you. Three options to choose from.
• Debug panel. Makes the fps and ping indicators in the upper left corner of the screen a little larger and more visible.
• Damage panel. The mod expands the capabilities of the standard status panel of your tank and adds a log of damage received. The assembly includes options from Gambiter, from Zayaz, “improved standard”, compact mini-panel, from Rabbit, from BioNick.
• Damage announcer in chat writes messages about the result of an enemy shot at your tank. Only artillery hits are displayed in the chat of the allied team.
• Combat chat with antispam system will protect you from multiple messages from the same player, as well as from unnecessary clicks on the minimap.
• Radial menu combat commands can be modified to make the commands more informative. The mod is customizable - open its configuration after installation.
• Enemy guns on the minimap- a useful mod for assessing the situation in battle, allowing you to understand whether opponents are waiting for you and where their guns are aimed.
• Total number of HP of teams- this is an indicator that shows on the score panel how many strength points the allied and enemy teams have left in total. There are two options - simple or WG League style - configuration from Armagomen (in the screenshot).

• Battle rating calculator— shows in the upper right corner of the screen your result in the current battle: personal rating of RE, WN8 and damage dealt, as well as a coefficient that shows how many times more damage you dealt than the average player.
• SafeShot fuse. Blocks fire on allies and tank corpses. The outline must be highlighted, otherwise the mod will not work.
• Alerting allies about light exposure. If the commander of your tank has learned the “sixth sense” skill, then, upon detection, a message about the light will be displayed in the chat of the allied team, indicating the coordinates on the minimap. Doesn't work if you have more than six living allies left.

Other useful mods assembled from Protanka 1.6.0.4

This section contains minor changes and improvements to the game interface.

• Disable camouflages and inscriptions. Quite a popular mod for disabling unnecessary graphics on tank armor. Makes aiming a little easier.
• White carriages. Destroyed carriages change their textures to white for greater contrast and easier targeting of enemies hidden behind them.
• White tanks. Similar to white carriages, it helps to “get” opponents from behind cover.
• White downed caterpillars. The mod clearly shows the state of the chassis of opponents or allies.
• Colored hit marks. This mod makes traces of hits colored: penetrations - red, non-penetrations and ricochets - green.
• Colored tank icons in the ears of the teams in two options to choose from.
• Voice activation of the microphone. The mod automatically turns on the microphone during a conversation, without pressing a button on the keyboard.
• "Add sounds". This section contains several sound mods for notification of various events in battle - “crit bell”, detection of the enemy, activation of the “sixth sense”, etc.
• Announcement mod about gold streams from PRO Tanki. Shows notifications about World of Tanks gold draws in the hangar.
• Automatic assistant LBZ to activate personal combat missions. Enables completing the next combat mission after completing the current one.
• Mod for searching for platoon members. Helps to find a platoon for random.
• Change development tree. There are two variants of the tank research tree - compact and vertical.
• Hangar replay manager. Allows you to view, sort and delete records of your battles directly from the hangar.
• WG Social mod. An addition to the game interface that allows you to publish battle results on social networks.

Downloadable mods

This section contains mods that were not added to the build so as not to increase the size of the download file. The build installer allows you to download and install these mods from the Internet.

• Mod for WG Stream— allows you not only to broadcast your fights on the Internet, but also to watch streams from other channels right in the hangar.
• Interface localization in Ukrainian and Belarusian. Complete translation of all inscriptions in the game.
• Voice acting for the game- Russian, Ukrainian and Belarusian. There are several options for each language. Voiceover examples can be listened to directly in the installer interface.

Hangar replacement

This section contains a large collection of various holiday hangars, as well as the old design of the standard and premium hangars. The screenshot shows an interesting hangar for the American cluster of the game, dedicated to Veterans Day of the First World War. There are seventeen hangar options in total.

Setting up effects

This section allows you to configure effects in the game to optimize performance. The functions are similar to the famous WoT Tweaker program. We recommend preloading sounds and disabling smoke and fog effects. If you have a fairly powerful computer, you don’t have to install anything from this section. After selecting the options in this section, the installation of the modpack begins.

Along with the assembly, a mod is installed to notify about assembly updates, which helps keep all mods up to date.

• Download the modpack from the link below.
• The executable file in the archive is the assembly installer, which is packaged in an archive for easy downloading.
• Run the installer. Check if your game folder is specified correctly and proceed to selecting mods.

• The first mod selection screen is sights and information for all aiming modes. You can choose any combination, or skip this step or install one thing, for example, only an art sight.
• Setting up P-mod is the next installer screen. This section contains many useful improvements to the game interface - we recommend that you carefully study the tips and look at the screenshots.

Standard sight with reload timer. The sight has a classic look + reload timer. The sight is suitable for those who do not like drastic changes.
Choice— the sight is quite minimalistic, shows the reload time and your strength.
Desertod's Choice— a very large sight, has animated reloading, shows the reload time and the safety margin as a percentage.

Commander's camera— allows you to look at the battlefield from a bird's eye view.

Increasing light bulb operation up to 10 seconds

In the hangar, a mod has been added for the automatic installation of removable equipment - a camouflage net, a stereo tube, a tool box.

The mod works as follows - after an initial one-time installation of equipment manually, the tank configuration is automatically saved and, when you select a combat vehicle again in the tank carousel, the removable equipment returns to its place from another tank or from a warehouse.

Team strength points in the score panel

In the modpack from PROTanka, the HP of teams in the score panel shows not only the total strength indicator, but also the amount of damage dealt, the number of shots with penetration and the conditions for receiving the “Main Caliber” medal in the current battle.

Original tanked damage counter

This very useful mod for heavy tanks in the modpack from PROTanka has been completely redone and contains not only the total amount of damage repelled by armor, but also indicators for fulfilling the conditions for the “Steel Wall”. The mod is configured through the “Mod Center”.

"Aesthete Skins"

Not a new product, but also an important mod that is worth mentioning separately. “Aesthete skins” of the modpack from PROTanka are penetration textures that become visible in battle only when aiming at an ally or enemy tank.

Expanded assembly from PROTanka

This version of the assembly is distinguished by the presence of an extended statistics mod based on XVM, which is configured through the “Mod Center” from PROTanka. Also, in the extended assembly, statistics on the effectiveness of the mod itself are active, which is classified as “undesirable” mods and is therefore prohibited from distribution and downloading through official Wargaming websites.

Circles information

The aiming circle, or simply “alignment”, is a graphical indicator of the stabilization of a tank’s gun when aiming. The larger the circle, the worse the accuracy of the shot at a given moment will be and the greater the likelihood of missing or hitting the wrong area of ​​the enemy’s armor. The information content of this element of the game interface is very important, therefore in the multipack from PROTanka you can choose to install one of 14 information from different sights. Each installation option is provided with a screenshot of this information in battle.

Additional artillery sights and information circles for artillery tanks

Despite the fact that on the “” sight the topic of choosing sights for artillery can be closed, the authors of the multipack from PROTanka in this case follow the principle “the more, the better.” In addition to the Sword of Damocles, the assembly includes 13 more art sights and 10 aiming circle options. Complex mod P-MOD

A rare representative of the complex mod category, P-MOD allows you to make many changes at once and fine-tune the game. All functions of this mod in the PROTanka build installer are provided with explanations and screenshots where possible. We recommend that you pay attention to disabling the “dynamic effects” of the camera (shaking when fired, redness when your tank is hit, etc.) and to post-battle statistics, which can be shown both in the “notification center” in the hangar and directly in battle - in chat.

This section includes mods that are difficult to classify into other categories. These are various small and not very improvements, for example, the Safeshot mod or anti-spam in the battle chat. In this section, we advise you to pay special attention to the indicator of the nearest enemy - an extremely useful thing, literally “eyes in the back of your head.”

Combat interface

The combat interface modifications section contains mods that have a serious impact on the player’s success in combat as a whole. These are markers of the direction of fire of your tank, damage panels with a damage log, the direction of enemy guns on the minimap, etc. Required to install from this section are horizontal aiming angles and a damage panel from Gambiter with a log of damage received.

"Ease of perception"

Here are mods that make visual changes to objects in combat locations and game objects - penetration skins, white carriages, colored hit decals, etc.

Hangar mods

Various not very useful modifications of a general nature, like a vertical tank development tree in the vehicle research tabs of various nations. The only thing that is definitely useful from this section is the mod for searching for platoon members on the 3WOT website, which is completely similar to what is in .

Sound mods

Various voice acting options for crews and sound mods for individual events in the game are collected in this section. A mod that is undoubtedly worth installing is the “crit bell” when the internal module of an enemy tank is critically damaged or a member of its crew is concussed.
