The Autorun function allows you to reduce the user's time to launch media content. The computer automatically detects file formats and selects the desired program or opens a context menu and prompts you to select the desired action.

Setting up Autorun is very easy. Let's say you want to configure this function to automatically launch CDs or DVDs. Open the folder: My computer, choose: Properties and go to the tab: Autorun.

A menu will open in front of you with a list of actions that you can choose. Moreover, this list may be different, depending on the installed programs on different computers. Here's what one of the options for such a menu looks like:

From the drop-down list, select the type of files recorded on a CD or DVD disc. It's better to set the parameter: Mixed content, because The discs come across different types and it is usually impossible to say in advance what is recorded on the disc.

If you find something else in this file, especially links to resources on the Internet, then most likely such a link will download a virus or malicious code to your computer.
