I use more than enough programs on the blakberry z30, if I take it for work and not for play. I do programming when I really feel the urge to write an application that is really needed. Like a network calculator or a routing calculator, these are specific programs that can’t be created just like that. I was very pleased that the SSH client application, because for system administrators this is an indispensable thing. I was glad that the phone warned of danger when listening to music at high volume. Compared to the iPhone, blakberry has gone far ahead in my opinion. I myself used the iPhone 6 and I don’t advise you to sell this mistake of nature, a waste of money. And here you get everything for a relatively low price...

Excellent system ergonomics; - Performance; - Battery (from 7 am to 12 midnight from 100 to 0 in hard mode: 6-7 hours of talking on the phone via a BT headset, working with mail, web surfing, correspondence in instant messengers); - Design (both externally and in terms of use - fits in your hand like a glove); - Availability of a slot for MicroSD; - 4g. Use only when charging (see disadvantages), but flies beautifully; - Screen - high-quality color rendering, excellent resolution, responsive sensor, comfortable brightness; - Infused curtain; - BB HUB. Amazingly simple and necessary thing. Very cool. Delight; - Connection quality. Standing next to an arriving metro train and talking on the phone is no problem. In any mode, you and your interlocutor can be heard better than the best; - Gestures. It’s simple, understandable, you forget about the need

    1) the appearance is austere, but elegant, the back cover is carbon, in general a man’s phone 2) it has its own axle and it’s enough for me 3) the battery lasts 2-2.5 days

Blackberry Hub. Convenient thing. I removed the list of calls from there, otherwise it was a mess, it was difficult to navigate. - The battery lasts well (2G,. 3G). I only use the charger when I sleep. I haven't had a problem yet that I can't get through because the battery is dead. - Good area. - Indicator light. Many colors, can be customized to suit your needs, work is one color, family is another. - Connection quality. You have to turn down the volume so that others don't eavesdrop. - When working (Internet, letters, documents), the phone works quickly, without freezes or glitches. - HDMI port (presentations, videos) - Vibrator is a beast. I've been using my phone without sound for a year.

    Everything was wonderful

    1. Pretty good camera. 2. Good design. It looks expensive in appearance, especially in a good case. 3. Comfortable keyboard. 4. Interesting locking system, you can safely unlock it in front of a stranger. Actually, that's all.

This has two advantages: 1) Very comfortable ergonomics; 2) The hub is something wonderful and incredibly convenient. Letters, WhatsApp with a hub are very convenient to write and sort. And there’s even an Attachments tab, from which you can see all the documents that were sent to you without having to go through the mail. But the rest of the ink shines.

If only they had improved the integration with Android applications to full compatibility, and the price for such a phone would not be there.

    No apps. At all. There are no applications at all;
    - If you drop it, the “carbon” cover gets scratched;
    - Incredibly difficult to find a case. The covers are poor and bulky, the covers are very expensive - from 1,500 for a non-original one. For the original case 2,500 or more. If you are the owner of this device, do not be fooled by the original covers - they wear out within six months to a year, as if they were made of cardboard. Non-native ones also wear out, only cheaper and look even worse;
    - USB/charging socket on the side. You can accept the fact that this is not very convenient when charging or when connecting to a computer, but you cannot accept the fact that with a native book case this forces the phone to lie open while charging, which increases the breakage of the case.
    - Skype. Pre-beta available in the market - no problem

    1) a little heavy, but sometimes it even helps
    2) camera.... only macro photography saves. And so on the 3rd point, after the N 73,82,86,8,808 line from Nokia, of course it’s not a cake, but I’ve already scored on the camera
    3) maps... well, this phone was not particularly designed for super navigation, although I also downloaded a navigator, in principle it will work)
    4) honestly... I didn’t notice the notorious ideal connection) well, this is my opinion, but somehow it doesn’t bother me
    5) the price varies everywhere, but for this phone I would still give 15...

Calls are not grouped. It is difficult to find the required caller number in a huge list.
    - BBM cannot be disabled. Eats up several MB a day, even though I don’t use it.
    - there is no normal navigation.
    - not all Android applications work. They take a long time to load. Relatives are working fine.
    - there is no “select all” function in folders
-4G I only use with charging, it quickly uses up the charge.

Until the moment the phone stopped turning on. The red indicator flashes and that's it. Despite the fact that I handled the phone with care. At first I took it under warranty. They didn't tell me the problem, although I asked. They simply said that repairs were impossible. I visited 8 more repair services. Everywhere different reasons were given. As a result: the phone does not work. Wasted money.

    1. Not all applications for Android can be installed on it, and if they can, it can be done in a rather difficult way.
    2. The most disgusting screen! It freezes at the slightest cold or in humid weather; when taking photos through applications (including VKontakte), a magical blue screen appears and the phone has to be rebooted.
    3. There are a small number of repair services in Russia, therefore, repairing something will cost the cost of the phone.
    4. Both a plus and a minus - depending on the mood, sometimes the battery lasts all day, with active use, and by the evening it still remains in use. But this happens extremely rarely, and I still don’t understand why.
    5. The headphones included are immediately thrown into the trash.
    6. Today I removed the cover to take out the SIM card, and the unlock button safely fell off :) Wonderful

    1) The battery is standard, as on all shovels. the first month lasted two days, and then the standard 16-18 hours of calls and internet.
    2) Mother of his screen! This nasty thing freezes due to heat or cold. For example, at minus 25 it stopped responding to touch. Also, if you talk for a long time, the screen heats up from the cheek and freezes - it does not respond to touch in 30% of cases.
    3) Screen off sensor: periodically stops working and you press the keys during a call.
    4) Software. Native programs are complete slag, absolutely not adapted to Russia. Sopso as well as the built-in browser.
    5) The absence of BES and BIS in Russia kills its status as the most resistant phone to hacking. And it also prevents it from being used for corporate purposes.
    6) For a year I still haven’t figured out where to go

Even for a product from 2013, this phone is crude.

If you are buying a smartphone based on BlackBerry 10 for the first time in some time, then it is better for you to start getting acquainted with the new operating system from ours, it is more detailed. The BlackBerry 10 interface consists of strips of home screens. The left one, BlackBerry Hub, is a kind of forced notification center. Email, Facebook messages, Twitter, and virtually all pop-up alerts are right there right away without the need to open apps. You can reach the Hub from anywhere on BlackBerry 10 by swiping up and right from the bottom of the screen. The next window contains Active Frames. These are the applications that are currently running, shown minimized. You can get to Active Frames by swiping up from the bottom of any app. Many apps show important information in a collapsed format. Each next screen is a traditional desktop, where there are icons complete with folders. You can get to each of these pages faster by tapping its number or swiping along the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.

So what's new in BlackBerry 10.2? Many, mostly minor improvements. The Priority section in BlackBerry Hub. Each message that has received priority status receives a red bar on the right side of the message. By default, these messages include email, replies to messages that list you as the sender, messages sent by others with the same last name, and contacts that are manually designated as high priority. Although using this feature requires training, I found Priority in the BlackBerry Hub to be very convenient.

Also, BlackBerry Hub now has the View Attachments feature. This will allow you to see all incoming attachments, with file names and senders. This is very convenient when you just need to find a document. Attachments can be shown in tiles or as a list, and can be sorted by date, sender, name, or file type. There are also special additional search tools if you know exactly the file you are looking for. The system-wide menu for sending links or documents also received a major update. Now at the top of the list are some of your most used sources, including apps and contacts. They appear at the top of the list after two or three shares, which is convenient if you constantly send your information to someone.

The lock screen now provides detailed previews of the latest notifications - just tap the icon to see what's new. This makes good use of available space, although it would be nice if you could jump to important messages directly from the lock screen. Maybe this feature will appear in the next update. BlackBerry reminds us that any email messages that are closed while using the BlackBerry Balance feature will not appear on the lock screen, which is quite important for keeping your privacy private.

In addition, instant viewing and replying to messages for BBM and SMS appeared. These messages pop up at the top of the screen, no matter what program you are in. Many of the built-in apps can also connect to this feature, including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and email accounts.

The BlackBerry 10 browser still works fantastically and looks great on a big screen. Bars intelligently maximize screen real estate, and Reading Mode allows you to get the most out of it by turning off all the unnecessary stuff and focusing your attention on the text. Bing as the default search client still looks weird, but it's easy enough to change. Flash support is still present.
Typing on BlackBerry Z30

Typing on the BlackBerry Z30 is noticeably more comfortable than on the Z10 due to the huge size of the buttons. This is especially noticeable in horizontal orientation. Additionally, the software has been improved with new audio feedback for various keyboard actions, and the copy and paste icons have been redesigned.

Applications on BlackBerry Z30

The launch of the BlackBerry Z30 is a good time to check out what new apps are coming to BB10. The lack of essential apps tends to turn potential buyers away from a new BlackBerry platform more often than not, with direct comparisons to Android or iOS. Skype was initially missed by many, but it eventually arrived, and thanks to the new Jelly Bean application framework, it works better than ever. Take a look at Badland. This game received rave reviews and awards when it launched on iOS. It appeared on BlackBerry before Android and Windows Phone. The popular news reader app Flipboard debuted alongside OS 10.2. It's a port of Android and it runs smoothly. Evernote now has its own native pre-installed app that offers text and tag editing capabilities, in addition to its existing integration with the native Remember app.

Of course, not everything is perfect. For many, the key is the lack of an official Instagram app. But what's important to remember is that the major players (Facebook, Foursquare, LinkedIn, and Twitter) are with BlackBerry 10!

In addition, the new BlackBerry 10.2 operating system makes it easy to install ported Android applications:

BlackBerry Z30 USB Host

BlackBerry 10.2 is a big step forward, especially when you look at things like USB Host capabilities and video mirroring via Miracast. With cool features like remote file access via PC Link and screen sharing via BBM, it's clear that the platform is evolving quickly.

BlackBerry Z30 results:

Fine

Very impressive sound
Excellent battery life
Improved OS

Badly

Quite bulky
Physical keyboard still provides a perfect typing experience

Summary

Many people think that this device should change the fate of BlackBerry, but this is not true, no product can do this. A platform reboot is not something that happens overnight, or even within the first 6 to 8 months. It will take at least a year, maybe two, to determine whether BlackBerry can continue to exist as a single company.

For all those who are probably just wondering, is the BlackBerry Z30 a good phone? Yes, it's a good phone. You won't be able to install Instagram without some fiddling around, but it's quite a modern, powerful device.

You can buy a BlackBerry Z30, adapted for work in Russia, in our online store.

), and yet, the company still has something to tell its audience. For example, about the new flagship device called BlackBerry Z30. The most important feature of the Z30 is its 5-inch screen, which puts it on par with such market monsters as the Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One, LG G2 and Nokia Lumia 925. In general, a whole cohort will fight against the Z30, but the price is $529 (i.e. about $850 or 27 thousand rubles) for the SIM-free version makes it more expensive than all its closest competitors. However, when buying a phone on a contract, everything is not so bad - tariffs start from £32 (about RUB 1,600) monthly.

However, BlackBerry recognizes the smartphone's appeal to a niche market of business users and prosumers, so specs and slick design have taken a backseat in favor of communication features and generally making the phone work as it should. Let's go back to the screen. Some may be disappointed that it supports a resolution of no more than 1280 x 720 - we are already accustomed to Full HD on our high-end smartphones, but the Z30, as you can see, does not follow the ubiquitous fashion and goes its own way. And yet, BlackBerry for the first time equipped its new smartphone with a Super AMOLED display, which combines more efficient energy saving and a rich picture.

So rich that compared to the Z10 screen, clear improvements are visible. But, again, next to the Full HD team, these improvements are far from being so obvious. This does not mean that the display is bad - we see a clear and clear picture, and there are no problems at all with reading text. Overall, it's hardly amazing, but it gets the job done. In addition, the display is quite sensitive, and during the entire time we used this device, we did not experience a single problem with pressing, which allowed us to explore the BlackBerry 10.2 operating system inside and out.

We found the Z30 to be quite heavy (the scale showed 170g), but it doesn't look as premium as the HTC One or iPhone 5s due to the mix of plastic body and glass pattern on the back cover. Some will probably prefer to end up with the plastic Galaxy S4 or LG G2, but the Z30, in turn, feels more solid than the Z10. The BlackBerry Z30 is relatively thin, measuring 140.4 x 72 x 9.4 mm. In addition, we did not need to open our palms wide in order to more or less comfortably grasp the device, however, due to the fact that the screen has become larger, we can no longer reach those elegant numbers without unnecessary fiddling.

You'll quickly get used to the three buttons that are on the right side of the BlackBerry Z30 (the two outer ones are for audio controls and the one in the middle is for voice commands). In addition, on top there is another button to turn the device on/off and a headphone jack. If you hold the Z30 in one palm, then these buttons are, so to speak, within walking distance, but in order to swipe up (to exit any application), you will need to move the smartphone a little to a more convenient position. On the left side there are connectors for microUSB and microHDMI, which allows you to easily connect the Z30 to a computer or even a TV, although only a USB cable is included in the kit.

The back cover with a glass pattern (like on the BlackBerry Q10 QWERTY device) can be removed, but personally I found this process a little tricky. To tell the truth, we put a lot of effort into removing this cover, while also worrying about damaging the thin plastic covering. The fastening was so rigid that at one point it seemed to us that the cover could not be removed at all. We were even more confused when we discovered a hole in the plastic case, mistaking it for a valve for microSIM and mcroSD connectors.

But, as it turned out, this piece of plastic was connected to a patterned cover, and we, gathering our strength, finally removed it. In addition, the device is equipped with a non-removable 2880 MA battery - which makes it similar to the BlackBerry Q5 - but on the other hand, you can change the microSD card (up to 64 GB) literally on the fly and without having to turn off the smartphone. BlackBerry claims the battery lasts for 25 hours of mixed use, although it's not entirely clear what they mean by that. In addition, the smartphone will work for 16 days in standby mode and 18 hours of talk time.

It's unlikely that we'll find the same numbers when we take a closer look at the smartphone, but we'll keep you posted. What about your impressions of using the Z30? To begin with, let's say that the smartphone runs on the latest version of the new BlackBerry operating system – BlackBerry 10.2. This version brings with it a whole bunch of new options, and considering the fact that the smartphone is equipped with a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor and 2 GB RAM, the operating system runs quite smoothly.

Perhaps the most significant changes have been made to notifications: new icons have appeared on the lock screen, with which you can see previews of messages without having to unlock your smartphone. When checking for new messages, you will use the peek gesture (swipe up from the bottom of the screen) less and less - a notification panel will appear on top of the application you are in, showing a preview of what you just received. This is very similar to the notification panel in Windows Phone 8, but with added functionality specifically for BBM messages.

Once you receive a BBM message, you can reply to it simply by tapping the notification icon, meaning you don't have to exit the app you're currently in and then log into BBM or BlackBerry Hub. BlackBerry calls this feature BBM Now, and we'd like to see it across all electronic communications apps, including email and SMS. However, we've seen demonstrations of these options on other Z30s, and we think they work well. In the following articles we will definitely tell you about it in more detail.

The BlackBerry Hub, a single mailbox for all communication flows, has also acquired a new option. It's called Priority Hub, and its job is to study which communication methods and which people are most important to you. She takes what she considers the most important and interesting messages (be it SMS, emails or social media updates) and puts them in the most prominent place. The idea is that you can quickly see all the notifications that you should worry about first, thereby saving time. But if you don’t want to rely on preferences that will arise automatically, you can set up Priority Hub yourself.

The 8-megapixel camera is nothing special, but coupled with a single LED flash, autofocus, image stabilization and 5x digital zoom, in addition to all sorts of shooting modes including Burst, HRD and Time Shift, it is at least suitable for use. The camera has no problems with shutter speed (quite the opposite), but I have always disliked the native camera application on BlackBerry 10 because of its shutter, which covers the entire screen at the moment of taking a photo, which is why some photos don’t turn out as expected. Image quality is more than acceptable, but unfortunately does not reach the standards of the Lumia 925 and iPhone 5s.

Additionally, you can record Full HD, 1080p videos, while the front 2MP camera comes with 3x digital zoom and the ability to record 720p videos. The BlackBerry Z30 offers a ton of options for connecting to everything. We've already mentioned ports for USB, HDMI and microSD, but in addition to this, the smartphone can communicate with other devices via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC and DLNA. A new option that neither the Z10, nor the Q10, nor the Q5 has is Miracast - it organizes two-way “communication” between the Z30 and another device such as a tablet or smart TV.

Verdict

We think the BlackBerry Z30 is a serviceable, if slightly unattractive smartphone that, to be honest, doesn't try to win the hearts of a mainstream audience. BlackBerry is aiming more at the business niche. Regular people will probably pass by the Z30 in favor of the cheaper HTC One and Galaxy S4 or the brand new iPhone 5s. Overall, we're not sure that the Z30 will make a big impact on the market, although we hoped for this situation when BlackBerry first created the sequel to the Z10. And although the Z30 is noticeably better than its predecessor, it may become one of the last devices from BlackBerry in its current guise.

We'll start our review of the BlackBerry Z30 smartphone, which made a lot of noise even before its release, with the design. No matter what anyone says, design is one of the most important characteristics that we pay attention to first when choosing a gadget for a fairly long time. You could even say that our mobile phone is an extension of us, our second face, so to speak.

At all times, people have tried to somehow stand out from the crowd, to emphasize their uniqueness. In mobile gadgets, this manifests itself in different form factors, in bright body colors, and in different prices... But there is something that never changes. Among the heap of all kinds of tinsel that irritates the eye, elegance, style, absence of unnecessary things and a full range of functions have always been valued.

It is these features that are embodied in the BlackBerry Z30, elegant as a piano, stylish as a Bond tuxedo, streamlined like a sports car, multifunctional like a computer.

Appearance of BlackBerry Z30

Today, so-called phablets (phablet from phone + tablet) or tablet phones are becoming increasingly fashionable. But as they say, size matters. BlackBerry Z30 size – 140.7x72x9.4 mm, weight – 170 g. Almost the entire front panel is occupied by a large 5-inch SuperAMOLED display. The golden mean is how the dimensions of the Z30 can be characterized. It is created for convenience. Convenience in every way. And the highest quality of assembly and materials pleasantly complement this picture.

Under the durable glass display, protected by an oleophobic coating, there is the BlackBerry brand logo, and above it is one of four speakers, light and proximity sensors, and a 2 megapixel HD FaceTime camera.

At the top end there is the usual on/off button and a 3.5 mm jack for a stereo headset. At the bottom there is the main microphone and a recess for opening the back cover. On the right are the volume keys, voice control and two of the four speakers. On the left are MicroUSB and MicroHDMA connectors, and if you remove the cover, you will find slots for MicroSIM and MicroSD cards.

On the back panel there is an 8 Megapixel camera, LED flash and the BlackBerry logo.

To compare sizes, here is a photo of the Z30 with the Z10 and Q10:

Included with the gadget you will receive a charger, a USB to micro USB cable, excellent headphones with spare earbuds and instructions.

Z30 hardware

The heart of the Z30 is a dual-core Snapdragon S4 Qualcomm MSM8960T Pro processor clocked at 1.7 GHz. BlackBerry, like Apple, does not follow the path of increasing the number of processor cores, which not only speed up, but greatly reduce battery life. It is much more effective to follow the path of optimization, which is fully embodied in the Z30. Having a 2880 mAh battery, this smartphone can last up to 25 hours in normal use. In this it has no competitors among devices with similar functionality. With two gigabytes of RAM, forget about stuttering or delays. The device has 16 Gb of built-in memory and can be expanded using a 64 Gb MicroSD card up to 80 Gb. In addition, the Z30 has an active USB host, which allows you to connect, for example, flash drives to it and manage data using a built-in file manager.

Display and graphics Z30

As for the graphics of the BlackBerry Z30, a 4-core Quad Adreno 320 graphics processor and a 5-inch multi-touch display take care of this. The display resolution is 720x by 1280 pixels, density is 295 ppi, colors are 16 million, aspect ratio is 16:9, and color depth is 24 bits. The display of graphics and texts is incredibly clear thanks to SuperAMOLED display technology, which, with fairly modest energy consumption, significantly increases viewing angles and makes colors rich and deep. You can watch videos on the Z30 in HD 720p format.

Photos and videos in Z30

The BlackBerry Z30 is equipped with an 8 Megapixel main camera that takes pictures with a resolution of 3264 by 2448 pixels. The camera sensor is back-illuminated for low-light shooting, and the lens is a 5-element F2.2. The camera has autofocus, 5x digital zoom, automatic exposure, image stabilization and LED flash, and the Time Shift function, in tandem with face recognition, will allow you to correct individual elements of the photo. You can edit up to five faces, each one separately. To do this, before shooting, select the Time Shift function in the Camera application and take a photo. The camera will recognize faces and take a series of photos, after which you can use a slider to choose the best option for each face.

The front camera of the Z30 has a resolution of 2 Megapixels and 5x digital zoom. With its help, you can communicate in HD video format (720p, 30 frames per second), and the video stabilization function will help make your communication unforgettable.

The main camera allows you to record video in Full HD format (1080p, 30 frames per second) with a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels. We recorded a short video so you can evaluate the shooting quality of the BlackBerry Z30.

Below you can see examples of photos from the Z30 camera (click on the image to view in full size).

Sound and communication in the Z30

The sound in the Z30 is provided by proprietary technology - BlackBerry Natural Sound, which makes the sound of the smartphone unrivaled. With three microphones and two stereo speakers, you'll talk to the other person as if they were right next to you. Watching videos, listening to music and playing games on the BlackBerry Z30 is a pleasure. The smartphone supports many audio and video formats: 3GP, 3GP2, M4A, M4V, MOV, MP4, MKV, MPEG-4, AVI, ASF, WMV, WMA, MP3, MKA, AAC, AMR, F4V, WAV.

The signal reception technology in the BlackBerry Z30 is also unique and has no analogues. The smartphone uses technology from Paratec, which BlackBerry bought in early 2013, while it was still RIM. This technology provides fast data transfer speeds and connection stability in areas with poor network coverage, thanks to the 3x5 mm ParaScan device, tuning antennas in record time.

In addition to the standard GSM/GPRS/EDGE module, suitable for mobile networks in Ukraine, the BlackBerry Z30 has dual-band, high-speed Wi-Fi that supports Wi-Fi Direct and Miracast for direct data transfer between devices.

To access the Internet you no longer need to connect to the BIS service. The latest version of Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy will provide you with reliable support for various headsets and BlackBerry Tag - data exchange with devices that support NFC technology. And, of course, the BlackBerry Z30 has satellite navigation: GPS and GLONASS. Residents of countries with 4G (LTE) networks will be able to experience all the benefits of high-speed data transfer (up to 50Mbs) in mobile networks using the Z30.

The BlackBerry 10 operating system is the jewel in the Z30's crown. It was created specifically for BlackBerry smartphones and is fully optimized with its hardware. Thanks to this combination, the Z30 boasts long battery life (18 hours of talk time) and trouble-free operation of all functions and programs.

This is the highlight of the Z30. Message center brought to perfection. All notifications from all your communication channels are collected here. These include calls and SMS, social networks and instant messengers, e-mail accounts and MMS. New message notifications also appear on the lock screen. Without unlocking your smartphone, you can find out the importance of a message and decide whether to read it now or put it off until later. BB Hub also has an integrated calendar, so you won't miss a single meeting. The Smart Reply function makes it possible to send a message to your interlocutor directly during a conversation, without interrupting the call. There is a set of templates and the ability to create your own. The Priority Hub function is an intelligent self-learning module that will first show you notifications from the most important and frequently used communication channels, constantly adapting to the owner’s preferences. You can also customize it yourself.

The operating principle of BlackBerry Hub notification system from BlackBerry is radically different from all similar ones. The phone does not check or download messages at a certain interval - a notification about a new message comes from the BlackBerry server at the moment it is received. You can download it either immediately or later. This method, firstly, saves battery power, and secondly, eliminates any delays in obtaining the necessary information. And thirdly, and most interestingly, all data on the server is stored in encrypted form, which makes it almost impossible for third parties to gain access to your confidential information. This is why terminals on the BlackBerry operating system are in such demand among government agencies, police, NATO and even the CIA. When using the service, neither competitors nor even government agencies will have access to internal corporate information.

BlackBerry Messenger

This messenger allows you to communicate both in text mode and in voice and video through encrypted channels. Moreover, in text mode, you don’t even have to type messages, but simply dictate them. And all this is available in Russian! And in video mode, you can transmit images from both the front camera and the main one.

BBM is also available for other OS – Android and iOS. Paired with BlackBerry Natural Sound technology, which has no analogues, your communication will be pleasant and natural, and watching videos and playing games with such sound will be a pleasure. Separately, it is worth saying that data, both text and audio from video, is transferred between devices in encrypted form through BlackBerry servers, so it is unrealistic to gain access to confidential information. And this even without connecting additional services.

Keyboard BlackBerry Z30

Separately, it’s worth mentioning the Z30’s touch keyboard. Without a doubt, this is a masterpiece, and there is no competition among similar programs. There are 2 unique properties of all touch keyboards in BlackBerry 10 OS. The first is intelligent typing prompts. When you type a word, the Z30 will offer suggestions and you'll just have to swipe up on the one you want without having to type the word to the end. You can even type without spaces at all - the Z30 will arrange everything itself.

And the longer you use typing, the more suitable word options the smart keyboard will suggest to you. The second unique property is that if, when typing, you most often hit a letter not in the middle but closer to the edge, after a while the Z30 will take into account this feature of your pressing if you pressed in the center. Forget about boring, inconvenient keyboards - with the BlackBerry Z30, even an experienced secretary will envy your typing.

Popular apps

The Z30 comes pre-installed with social media clients Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Foursquare. There are also VKontakte and Google+, you can download them from BlackBerry World - the application store for BlackBerry. In it you will find a huge variety of paid and free programs.

New applications and games are constantly being added to the store. In the Docs To Go application you can view, edit and create .doc, .xls and .ppt files, in Adobe Reader you can view .pdf files. The Evernote application is an excellent task book that you can synchronize with your computer or any other devices. A great weather client will always keep you informed of the temperature and bad weather outside your window.

Calendar notifications appear in BB Hub so you won't miss anything important. Connect to Dropbox greatly expands your ability to store and share files, and its recent launch takes this capability to a completely secure enterprise level. For communication, in addition to BBM in BBWorld, there are Skype and WhatsApp.

The client for Instagram is almost ready - iGrann. Maps for GPS navigation – Wisepilot, Navitel or free Google maps. With BlackBerry Protect, you can track the location of your smartphone if it is lost and protect personal data on it, up to complete remote erasing. The IntouchApp Contacts service will automatically save all your contacts and help you restore them or transfer them to another device. BlackBerry Balance helps you keep your business and personal information separate. This function is configured by the administrator of the BES corporate service. The browser on the Z30 is the best among mobile browsers - this is shown by the html5 test.

In BlackBerry 10 OS, you have the ability to share your desktop when calling via BBM, and via Bluetooth 4.0 you can pair your Z30 with your car. Wi-Fi Direct and Wi-Fi Miracast functions are also very convenient. The first will allow you to share files over Wi-Fi directly with other devices, without the need for an access point, and the second allows you to synchronize HD video playback with your TV and vice versa.

Instead of a total

To summarize, let’s say that the BlackBerry Z30 smartphone is a device that contains all the functions necessary for a modern phone, many of which have no analogues on the market. He will cope with any tasks and will become your faithful assistant at work and play. The operating time on one charge is from 18 hours in talk mode to 25 in mixed mode, so it won’t put you in an awkward situation when the phone turns off at the most inopportune moment. And the best data protection system will give you confidence in the security of confidential information.
