Since the service is not free, subscribers sometimes want to disable it. This desire arises due to a lack of funds in the mobile account or for other reasons, so you need to know ways to eliminate the SIM card option.

Methods for disabling the “Beep” service on MTS

The MTS company connects beeps to customers to diversify boring sounds with beautiful melodies. However, subscribers understand that money is being debited from their account for the connected option, and a large amount can be debited per month. Therefore, dissatisfied subscribers often have a question: how to disable the “Beep” service on MTS?

So, to save funds in the account or for another reason, the client wants to disable it. You can perform this action in one of the available ways:

  1. Call number 0550. After the user dials the number selected for this action, he is taken to the voice menu, where he must follow further actions from the voice assistant. 4. Another effective way is how to disable the “Beep” on MTS for free, so as not to disable the option yourself, but to transfer this process to a specialist, that is, a representative of the MTS company in the communication store.

    It is important to remember that this method of disabling the “Beep” service implies that the user must have a passport with him in order for a specialist to check the owner of the SIM card.

  5. Automatic shutdown via the . If the client logs into his personal account, then he is given the opportunity to independently disable the option. To do this, he needs to find “Beep” in the list of active services and disable it.

Features of using the MTS “Beep” service

There are certain features of using the “Beep” option that MTS clients should be aware of. These include:

  • in international roaming this type of service is not guaranteed;
  • if the client has set forwarding to another number, the option cannot be provided;
  • if the melody has completely expired, then it is removed from the client’s tones;
  • When making a call from a landline phone, the option is not guaranteed;
  • in the event that the subscriber is in his home region and receives a call from a landline phone or from a client in international roaming, the service may not be guaranteed;
  • the MTS network operator can change the melodies from the “music box” at its discretion;
  • the operator warns users that the quality of the ringtones may sometimes be distorted due to the network being overloaded;
  • if the line to which the owner of the SIM card is calling is busy, then the client will hear ordinary short beeps instead of the melody set as part of the “Beep” service;
  • if the subscriber has not refused to renew the melody, it will be renewed after the new period begins, which will entail further debits from the mobile account of the MTS network user;
  • when installing “MTS Radio”, the user will not hear the sound installed within the “Beep”, but a melody delivered through the “MTS Radio” service.

Taking into account all the features of providing a service, it is easier for the client to decide whether it is necessary or not.

Before turning off the melody on the MTS dial tone, you need to weigh all the pros and cons of the service, and only then draw conclusions.

Conclusion

An option called “Beep” from MTS is an opportunity to replace boring beeps with a melody chosen by the client. It is chosen by subscribers who actively receive incoming calls. Sometimes the client wants to turn off the melody for a number of reasons, so he wants to know how this action can be accomplished.

The Gudok service on MTS appeared several years ago. At that time, it was positioned by operators as a tool for subscribers’ self-expression. The essence of the option is simple: during incoming calls, instead of the usual beeps, the interlocutor listens to music pre-selected by the subscriber. Usually the melody is set according to personal tastes, which do not always correspond to the taste of the caller. At the very beginning, the operator offered users a limited number of tunes, which included popular hits and classic tunes. The option was widely advertised and promoted, thanks to which the operator received a good income.

Today, the list of tracks to play during beeps is much wider and the user can choose the one he likes. But the peculiarity of the Gudok service is that in some cases it can be connected automatically when switching from one tariff to another, and for this the operator deducts a certain amount from the subscription fee. Usually it is small and does not significantly reduce the balance.

If the subscriber does not express a desire to cancel the service, the operator automatically renews it every month.

In this regard, many subscribers are interested in how to remove beeps on MTS and leave a simple buzzer.

How to refuse the GOOD’OK option?

Many subscribers activate the Gudok service to stand out and tell others about their musical tastes. This service is most popular among young people who use buzzer melodies as a way of self-expression. As people get older, they themselves abandon this mobile communication option, returning to the usual slow beeps.

But sometimes refusal of the GOOD’OK service occurs in other situations:

  • if the quality of melody reproduction leaves much to be desired (wheezing, interference, too loud a sound or poor audibility irritates the interlocutor, who forces him to listen to indistinct noises instead of monotonous beeps);
  • if the melody has ceased to be popular or is boring;
  • when the phone is used for work and in accordance with corporate ethics, clients should not hear music;
  • if the subscriber does not want to spend money on a useless service.

How to remove beeps on MTS if you are tired of them? Just like when connecting, you can remove the melody from the dial tone by calling 0550, or in your personal account.

Other ways to refuse a dial tone on MTS are as follows:

  • execute the USSD command *111*29# - this is the fastest and easiest way to unsubscribe from the GOOD’OK service;
  • log into your personal account on the MTS website;
  • refuse the beep on the special website goodok.mts.ru;
  • call 0550;
  • contact the nearest MTS office (in this case, there is a chance that the user will be refunded the money already written off for the beep).

The subscriber has the ability to configure operator services from his mobile phone. In the application goodok.mts.ru/app you can find out how to remove the dial tone service on MTS. There are more options for managing this service on the special page goodok.mts.ru. Here you can choose any of the presented melodies and even upload your own. If you wish, you can return the service in the same way.

Every MTS subscriber knows about the Goodok service, which helps entertain calling friends and acquaintances with a popular musical hit or a witty joke. Since money is withdrawn from the account for this option, many users want to disable the “Beep” on MTS. The cost of the connected function depends on the tariff and popularity of the melody. The mobile operator offers several ways to disable the “Beep” service.

Important! MTS provides its subscribers with the opportunity to use the service free of charge for a month. To do this, you need to connect to a specific tariff plan. If the service has not been disconnected after 30 days, the option becomes paid.

In the main menu, just select the “Services” section, find the option to replace the tone there and disable it.

When the user has figured out how to refuse an unnecessary function, he can always choose a convenient method for managing the services of a mobile operator. After disabling the function, charging for the subscription fee for the service stops, and instead of the previously heard jokes and melodies, the usual beeps return.

  • Are those who call you tired of monotonous beeps?
  • Do you want them to hear popular tunes instead of the usual signal?
